The ‘Operational Research for Value-based Health Care’ received 45 applications from students from 22 countries which are enrolled in PhD programs from 17 different countries.
Following a thorough selection process, 30 students from Euro Countries and 2 from no Euro Countries were accepted.
The registration stage is now concluded.
What do you need to do to attend the summer school?
Applications to the summer school are opened from the 14th January to the 14th February 2019. To apply, each applicant should submit:
- A CV with picture
- A synopsis of his/her research field and problem (acknowledging previous publications on the topic) and the name of academic supervisor
- A motivation letter
- One reference letter
Applications should be sent by e-mail to orvalueinhealth@tecnico.ulisboa.pt before the 14th February 2019 (Greenwich time).
Results will be announced by the 14th March 2019.
How much is the registration fee and what does it cover?
- Registration fee: 200€.
- Fees include: all accommodation, meals (breakfast, coffee break, lunch and dinner), transport to IST, and social activities.
- Fees do not include: travel costs from the participant country until Lisbon – these should be covered by the participants, either themselves or through external funding.
- Financial support: some specific funding will be available to waive the fee for some participants.
How many ECTS can you get with the Summer School?
2.5 ECTS.
