In the summer school you will have:
- the opportunity and time to get to know today’s and tomorrow’s “OR for value-based health care” experts!
- dinners with fun and scientific stimulating activities!
- a social day for sightseeing, relaxing and knowing better your colleagues.
Social Day
The social day will take place on the 5th September (see the schedule below). In the morning, in the Ericeira picturesque town on the western coast of Portugal (about 35 kms northwest of Lisbon), we will be able to spend some time at the beach, walk around and watch and/or do some surfing. In the afternoon, we will visit the National Palace of Mafra and see some of the nearby attractions. This Palace, together with the Basilica, Convent, Cerco Garden and Hunting Park (Tapada), form the Royal Building of Mafra which was inscribed on 7 July 2019 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Social Day schedule
You should bring with you:
- Sunscreen (especially advised for northern Europe participants)
- Flip flops or sandals
- A swimming suit (bikini, full body swimsuit, shorts — whatever suits you)
- Beach towel
- Hat
